The rest of this page is the detail behind those five lines.
PLURMate is operated by PlurTix LLC, a California limited liability company. PlurTix LLC is the business responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us at support@plurtix.com or 5101 Santa Monica Blvd, Ste 8, PMB 273, Los Angeles, CA 90029-2480, United States.
Location is optional and the app works without it. It simply cannot tell you how far away anyone is. If you allow it, your coordinates are rounded to two decimal places on your device, about a 1.1 km cell, before they are ever transmitted; the server rounds them again on the way in. We only read your position when you tap the button asking for it. Nothing runs in the background, and there is no location history.
Connecting your PLURTiX account is optional, and nothing is shared until you approve it in the PLURTiX app. Once you do, we receive the name and dates of each upcoming event you hold a PLURTiX ticket for. We never receive your seats, prices, order details, the people you bought from, anything you are selling, or your PLURTiX email address, name or account details. We hold a credential PLURTiX issues for this connection, encrypted in our database, and use it only to refresh that list. Every event starts hidden: an event appears on your profile only after you turn it on, one event at a time.
A crew is a small group going to one event together. Starting one, asking to join one and talking in its group chat are all optional. Belonging to a crew says which event you plan to go to, so it is shown only to members who can see that crew (see section 4). Crew chat messages are encrypted in our database like other messages, and crew photos are stored like other chat photos.
A dating profile may reveal or allow others to infer sensitive information, including sexual orientation, gender identity, relationship interests, and approximate location. You choose whether to provide optional profile information and may change or remove it in the app. We use this information only to provide the matching, discovery, safety, and moderation features you request; we do not use it for advertising.
No precise coordinates. No background or continuous location. No contacts, no calendar, no photo library beyond the images you choose to upload. No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or ad SDKs, no cross-app tracking. No payment information of any kind: there is no payment code in the app.
We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
When you create an account we email a one-time code to confirm the address is yours, and we email another if you ask to reset your password. These are transactional messages required to operate your account, not marketing, and there is no marketing email in PLURMate. We disclose your address to our email provider only as needed to deliver them.
If you sign in with Apple or Google, that provider tells us the email address on your account and whether it has verified it. We receive nothing else from them: no contacts, no profile, no activity. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever see the relay address Apple gives us.
Your handle, the name on your profile, your age (not your date of birth), your gender, your bio, your music answers, your photos, the location label you typed, an approximate distance, and any PLURTiX events you chose to show.
Crews. When you start a crew or ask to join one, members who can open that crew see your profile as listed above and that you are in it, which says you plan to go to that event. Whoever started a crew sees the profile of everyone asking to join. Everyone in a crew sees what is sent in its group chat, with the sender's name. Someone you have blocked, or who has blocked you, cannot see a crew either of you is in.
They never see your email address, your date of birth, your coordinates, who invited you, or anything you wrote in a report. Blocking and reporting are silent: the person you blocked is not told.
We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no advertising in PLURMate.
We use a small number of service providers, each of which processes data only on our instructions:
PLURTiX and PLURMate are services operated by PlurTix LLC. PLURMate account and dating data is not used for the PLURTiX ticket marketplace, and PLURTiX shares nothing with PLURMate unless you connect the two as described in section 2. Connecting them sends PLURTiX nothing about your PLURMate account beyond the fact that a connection was made. The Tickets tab is an ordinary link to a separate website; opening it shares the ordinary technical information a browser sends to that website, such as IP address and browser details.
We may also disclose data where we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with a valid legal request, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the safety of a member or the public, including reporting to law enforcement. If we are ever part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, data may transfer with the business; we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
Delete your account from Settings, or email support@plurtix.com. We do not make you ask twice and there is no waiting period designed to change your mind.
Your profile, photos, swipes, matches, messages and PLURTiX connection are removed, you leave every crew you were in, crews you started close, and your unused invite codes stop working. Three things persist: messages you already sent remain in the other person's copy of the conversation, the same way a text message does, and messages you sent in a crew remain in that crew's chat under "Deleted member"; a safety record survives where section 6 says so; and aggregate, non-identifying counts that cannot be traced back to you remain in our own statistics. Residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted backups and are removed as those backups rotate, unless law requires preservation.
Email addresses, names, bios, message contents and push tokens are encrypted at rest in our database. Passwords are never stored: we keep only a salted one-way BCrypt hash, which cannot be reversed to recover what you typed. Traffic is TLS-encrypted. We check new passwords against a public database of passwords exposed in known breaches, so one already circulating cannot be chosen here. The photo bucket is private: every image is served through an authenticated request to our own server, never a public link that would outlive the profile it belongs to.
No system is perfect. If we discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required by law.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Email support@plurtix.com. We may verify a request using the email address on the account or other information reasonably necessary to protect the account. We respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right. We may deny or limit a request where the law permits, including when we cannot verify it or must retain information for safety or legal reasons.
The rights above are your GDPR/UK GDPR rights. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority, or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the rights above, plus the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose to, all set out in sections 2, 3 and 5. We do not sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. You may use an authorised agent; we will ask for proof of authorisation.
Residents of other US states may have similar rights under their applicable state law and may exercise them in the same way. If we deny an eligible state-law request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and stating that you wish to appeal.
PLURMate is operated from the United States and its primary systems are located there. If you access the service from another country, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other places where our service providers operate. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, we use an approved legal mechanism such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.
PLURMate is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor we delete it and its data immediately. If you believe a minor is using PLURMate, report the profile in the app or email support@plurtix.com. This is the one report we treat as urgent above all others.
We may update this policy. The date and version at the top always tell you which one you are reading. For material changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect, and ask you to accept the new version.
